Measuring Learning Initiatives
Event Description
During this session, we will explore the effective measurement of learning and development initiatives. The session will involve presentation and discussion around designing measurement in the needs analysis phase of the initiative. In addition, stakeholder engagement through successful governance will be explored, with a greater understanding of the role stakeholders have in identifying success metrics.
The session will also allow participants to begin to think about their own initiatives from a high-impact learning perspective. In addition, we will examine tools that may be used to identify metrics which satisfy all four of Kirkpatrick's levels of effective measurement, utilizing a scorecard methodology for executive reporting.

Dr. David Churchill is the Vice President of Talent, Leadership & Culture at CCA, a privatized adult corrections organization headquartered in Nashville, TN. CCA operates approximately 70 facilities with 15,0000 employees throughout the United States. Churchill has over 30 years of human resources, talent management, and organization development experience serving in various senior-level roles, including Sr. Vice President, Human Resources & Development at Bank of America and Vice President, Talent Management at Tractor Supply Company. Churchill holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Eastern Illinois University, an M.B.A. from Aurora University, and a doctorate in Organizational Behavior from The George Washington University.
