Virtual Coffee Chat: Executive Presence Virtual Discussion
Executive presence is more than charisma or being able to "own the room." Suzanne Bates defines executive presence in her book (All the Leader You Can Be: The Science of Achieving Extraordinary Executive Presence) as "the qualities of a leader that engage, inspire, align and move people to act."
How is executive presence a strategic tool for us as learning professionals? Why bother to assess our executive presence and make authentic improvements? And yes, how do we (again) adjust these qualities to the unique executive presence needed for a virtual environment?
In this session, we'll discuss what executive presence is, and participate in breakout discussions that offer safe self-review and insights into improving our executive presence in an authentic way that allows us to use our skills to enhance our personal development and our organizations success.
