Choosing a Rapid Authoring Tool: Articulate Storyline vs Adobe Captivate
The question, “Captivate or Storyline, which is better?” is one that most e-learning developers and instructional designers will encounter at some point in their career. The fact of the matter is that one is not necessarily better than the other, but each does have its own benefits and obstacles to navigate.
This crash course comparison of Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline will help our SIG members understand some of the key differentiators for both solutions, as well as some general thoughts on ideal applications of these programs in our workflow. We will break down features and drawbacks of each program, demo development work in each to showcase UI and features, as well as provide open time for general Q & A.
