ADA Compliance in Your Instructional Design
Our guest speaker this month is Garry Hornbuckle, User Experience Architect with Digital Marketing Solutions. Garry will provide an overview of the federal standards that require information technology be accessible to individuals with disabilities. He will also discuss seeing, hearing, and mobility impairment, and the implications for instructional designers and web developers. Garry will also offer some tips for best practices. Finally, we'll wrap up the meeting with a discussion about the business and financial implications of compliance vs. non-compliance.
