Angie's Bio

The tagline on one of
Angie’s professional profiles is: Instructional Designer, Adult Educator and Lifelong Learner. All three sum up Angie’s career, education and personal interests well.

Having spent the bulk of her career as a shopping center manager, Angie is a relatively new
ID with an affinity for those new to the Talent Development field. In fact, her research as a doctoral student at University of Georgia centers on helping novices gain competency. She runs a SIG group through the ATD Middle Tennessee chapter to address the technical and adaptive challenges novices face.

Throughout her career, Angie has coached, mentored and developed employees at all levels, and has been asked to facilitate workshops, develop curriculum, and provide organization-wide engagement and learning opportunities.

Angie loves to travel, is an avid reader, and seeks out opportunities to learn, reflect and grow. Eating great food, cooking for friends and family and scoring trash to treasure furniture are added bonuses.
