Diagnosing Workplace Human Performance Challeges: Applying Behavioral and Organizational Models

Organizational Development SIG

Join us for the ATD Nashville Organizational Development (OD) SIG!

Organizational Development (OD) is the study and implementation of organizational change processes. Join two leaders in the OD field for this Special Interest Group (SIG) discussion on OD related topics. Each bi-monthly meeting will have a specialized topic for discussion, workshop, or guest speaker.

This session will explore how organizations can more effectively diagnose workplace human performance challenges using evidence-based frameworks from behavioral science and organizational psychology. Rather than defaulting to training as the primary solution, participants will examine how human performance is shaped by multiple factors including capability, work design, environmental supports, and motivation.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe and discuss the ATD Human Performance Improvement Model.
  • Use the model to analyze and evaluate a real-world workplace performance case scenario.

ATD Capability Alignment: Organizational Development and Culture, Learning Sciences, Knowledge Management, Coaching

Time: 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM CST

Members: FREE with registration

Non-Members: FREE with registration
