From Managing Talent to Mobilizing Capability
Virtual Chapter Meeting

Most organizations have invested heavily in talent systems, workforce planning, development programs, performance management, and succession processes. Yet when strategic priorities shift, leaders often still ask the same question:

Do we have the capability to execute this?

In this session, Gayathri Riddhi explores why capability often struggles to move inside organizations, even when talent is present. Drawing on insights from global workforce research and organizational practice, she examines how role structures, team boundaries, and traditional development approaches can unintentionally anchor capability in place.

Participants will explore how organizations can create conditions that allow capability to move across teams, initiatives, and evolving strategic priorities. Rather than focusing on programs alone, this session looks at how organizational design and leadership practices influence the visibility, movement, and growth of capability.

Attendees will leave with a new perspective on talent strategy and a practical diagnostic tool they can use with their leadership teams to assess how effectively capability moves within their organizations.
