About the Facilitator:
Colin Callahan, CEO & Co-Founder Acklen Avenue
Colin Callahan has a passion for creating an environment where employees thrive. As the CEO and cofounder of Acklen Avenue, which was formed in 2011, he has made this his primary focus. Colin was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 21 where he attended Musician’s Institute. In 1999 he attended programming classes and discovered his love of building software. Soon after he moved to Nashville and started working as a software engineer. During the next ten years, he noticed there was an absence of great places to work for software developers. And so he formed Acklen Avenue with his business partner, Byron Sommardahl, to create that great place.
