The Path to CPLP Certification
This is a virtual meeting.
Interested in pursuing your CPLP certification? Learn from someone who recently completed the journey. During this informal, virtual session you will hear from Michael Guzman’s recent CPLP certification experience and be able to ask questions about his journey. Specifically this session will cover:
- The decision to pursue the ATD CPLP credential
- A review of the CPLP requirements
- Study planning for the Knowledge Exam, and then the Skills Application Exam (SAE)
- The test date experience and/or tip(s) for test day
Michael Guzman has a passion for providing learning and development opportunities to individuals inside and outside of the corporate work environment.
Michael recently earned his Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) in May 2019. Over his 15-year career, he has had opportunities to demonstrate and grow his passion for learning and development in the corporate work place in various roles from Training Specialist, Instructional Designer, Director of Education, and Learning Consultant, with most of his career spent working at Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), in Nashville. Michael is grateful for the many individuals (i.e. peers, employees, supervisors, cross-functional teams, business partners) that have impacted his own learning and professional development.
Michael and his wife Crystal currently live in Madison, Wisconsin, where they both are passionate about teaching private and group West Coast Swing dance classes outside of their regular full-time jobs.
