January Topic: "Motion Paths and Menus"
Motion paths can be a great value add to animations and content in a Storyline project. But which one do you use, how do you continue the path across multiple segments, and where should you use a motion path instead of a prebuilt animation?
While there is built-in menu functionality within the Storyline player, it doesn't always look or function the way we need it to for a particular project. If you want to build a custom menu, where do you start? Do you use a pop-up menu, a menu that is always on-screen, or a different option? Should the menu be locked down according to progress, or completely open?
This month, we will spend the first portion of our time talking about motion paths, built-in menus, and custom menu options. The last half of the meeting will be individual build time to practice with motion paths, create our own custom menus, or combine the two to create something amazing.
Bring some snacks, bring your laptop and charger, bring some headphones (if you enjoy music while developing), and get ready for a meeting full of build time!
