November Topic: "Building Custom Menus"
Sometimes you may need a menu in your course for learners to either jump around or refer back to various topics in the course. While there is built-in menu functionality within the Storyline player, it doesn't always look or function the way we need it to for a particular project. If you want to build a custom menu, where do you start? Do you use a pop-up menu, a menu that is always on-screen, or a different option? Should the menu be locked down according to progress, or completely open?
This month, we will spend the first portion of our time talking about built-in and custom menu options. The last half of the meeting will be individual build time to create our own custom menus and then share with the group.
Bring some snacks, bring your laptop and charger, bring some headphones (if you enjoy music while developing), and get ready for a meeting full of build time!
Hope to see you there.
