The Nashville Chapter of ATD proudly presents a special presentation on women in business. Come hear Ms. Nokes compelling story of her journey to become one of the most successful female business leaders today.  Ms. Nokes will share interesting stories, obstacles she has overcome, fascinating people she has met, and lessons learned over the course of a decades-long career.  Regardless of your gender, you will gain valuable perspective and insights into how to overcome your own leadership challenges.

Participants will:

  • Be inspired in their own leadership journey.
  • Gain perspective on how to overcome your own leadership challenges.
  • Have the opportunity to ask Ms. Nokes their own questions.

Networking and Appetizers at 5:30 PM - provided by Asurion's "Women's Initiative Network."

Event starts at 6:00 PM.  No admissions after 6:00 PM due to on premise security policies.

Sue currently serves as an Asurion Advisory Board Director, working closely with senior leadership on global growth initiatives and operational planning. Additionally, Sue is providing executive leadership and sponsorship to Asurion’s Diversity & Inclusion program and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Prior to this, Sue served as Senior Vice President of Customer Solutions where she was responsible for the expansion of Asurion’s portfolio of products and services in new markets as well as with new clients. Prior to joining Asurion, Sue served as Chief Customer & Operations Officer with T-Mobile. Under Sue’s leadership, T-Mobile won 7 consecutive J.D. Power awards for the Best Customer Service in Wireless and followed that with 5 consecutive J.D. Power awards for Best Customer Experience in Wireless Retail and was recognized by Business Week as one of the Top 25 Customer Service Champions. Prior to T-Mobile, Sue successfully led the customer service initiative as a member of the Walmart senior management team that launched Walmart.com.
