Join the OD Special Interest Group 5:30 - 7:00PM Thursday, October 1st for a special exploration of a  Leadership Effectiveness "Theory of Everything".

Physicists have long been pursuing the idea of a single, unifying equation that defines “all” of the physical laws governing our universe; and fits within an equation that is approximately one inch long.

WHAT IF we could define the concept of leadership effectiveness in a similar way…a simple, elegant, and unifying description??

Can this be possible?  Amazon lists 275,260 books on leadership and management; a Google search on “Leadership" returns 425,000,000 hits!  And, how can such a model account for the differences between GE and Kroger, Google and Tyson Poultry, Southwest Airlines and McDonald’s….the list is endless!

Please join the OD-SIG on Thursday Oct 1st 5:30 - 7:00PM for a highly interactive pressure test of a Leadership Effectiveness "Theory of Everything” model.  You will test this model to evaluate if your definition, experience, and beliefs regarding leadership effectiveness are included; and can the model provide a simple, elegant, and unifying description across many situations.  Finally, participants will apply the model to current leadership development needs within their own organization to examine a proven process to create a practical, results-oriented Leader Pipeline development strategy and architecture.

Rob Bateman, Senior Partner- Strategic Talent Solutions, will facilitate the session.  You can learn more about Rob and Strategic Talent Solutions here.

We will meet at ECO-ENERGY Suite 500, 6100 Tower Circle, Franklin TN.  ( map ).  Note: public elevator access has been extended to 6:00PM.

This entertaining session is equally relevant to all Talent and Organization Development professionals, as well as HR Business Partners, and Line Managers at any level.  Please invite your colleagues who may be interested to join the discussion.

The OD-SIG meets on the first Thursday of each month.  Our group's focus is not limited to Organization Development; we explore all aspects of organization and talent effectiveness.  We use a rotating meeting format: a "structured" session that may include a speaker or facilitated activity, followed the next month with an "unstructured" session at a local restaurant where we combine topical discussion with networking and socializing.

If you have questions, please contact Rob Bateman at  rbateman@strategictalentsolutions.net or Jennifer
Moehlmann at  JenniferM@eco-energyinc.com
