In organizations today, resources are scare. Sometimes we are so focused on customers we lose sight of the organization’s need to develop people. We need tools in our tool belt to develop people, promote career development and provide high quality development opportunities. We need partners when time and expertise are in short supply.

In this program, we will gain insight on how Trevecca University and Dale Carnegie of Tennessee can help.

Trevecca’s graduate business programs are holistically reshaping Nashville’s workforce. You will learn more about the Master of Business Administration and Master of Organizational Leadership programs.  Trevecca will also share how their Center for Innovative Instruction is seeking to create, improve, and advance adult education using the latest technology.

Dale Carnegie of Tennessee will review best practices, share innovative ways to develop your talent, discuss critical skill sets for leaders today, and review research on how leaders grow today. You will have the opportunity to win valuable door prizes including Dale Carnegie's best sellers: How To Win Friends and Influence People and How To Stop Worrying and Start Living.

Session Objectives

• Identify the benefits of partnering with a school or external vendor to meet internal talent development demands.
• Discover ways to leverage new technology to promote adult learning, based on practices used at Trevecca's Center for Innovative Instruction.
• Define the essential leadership skills needed for professional success, based on research presented by Dale Carnegie of Tennessee.

About the Venue

The meeting will be held at Trevecca Nazarene University's Boone Business Building, located at 333 Murfreesboro Road, Nashville, TN 37210, next door to Trevecca Nazarene Church.  We will be meeting in room 115.  There is ample parking available behind the church.
