The OD Special Interest Group is excited to announce a special presentation and discussion involving the Vanderbilt Leadership and Organizational Performance master's program for our next meeting on Thursday, October 2nd from 5:30 -7pm at MedSolutions 8th floor boardroom at 730 Cool Springs Blvd, Franklin TN 37067. (location: http://goo.gl/wz302v)
Abby Buhrman, Jess Forman, Helen Guyton, Jonathan Vest and several other graduate students from Vanderbilt’s M.Ed. in Leadership and Organizational Performance, will present "lessons learned" related to project work from their master’s program and from their required internships. This will be a facilitated session where the students will be presenting information on each of their experiences and backgrounds. Then we’ll ask the audience to participate by discussing how these Leadership and Organization Performance experiences relate to the real world of OD/L&D according to our experience as practitioners.
Many of you may have attended the OD SIG session earlier this year where we hosted graduate students from the I/O Psychology program at MTSU. The session was very informative and generated much discussion. Attendees from every level found the shared ideas to be interesting and valuable. We are expecting the same level of discussion and value from this session and hope you will make time to join us.
